One of my favorite ways to eat granola is to layer it with yogurt and some fruits. Here is a very simple recipe for yogurt parfait!
Yield : 1 serving Cooking time : About 5 minutes
Ingredients
3/4 cup (180g) of plain yogurt
1/2 cup (120g) of fresh fruits (raspberries, mangoes, kiwis etc)
1/4 cup (50g) of granola
Directions
- Dice the fruits into small pieces and combine half of them with the yogurt.
- Fill half of a small mason jar or bowl with the yogurt mixture and layer half of the fruits and the granola.
- Add the rest of the yogurt mixture, fruits, and granola.
- Add some honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.
You can serve this parfait immediately for a crunchier texture or make the parfait in a mason jar and take it with you for a healthy breakfast on the go. You can also place it in a refrigerator for a few hours up to overnight for a creamier result.
