Granola parfait

One of my favorite ways to eat granola is to layer it with yogurt and some fruits. Here is a very simple recipe for yogurt parfait!p1210402

Yield : 1 serving    Cooking time : About 5 minutes


Ingredients

3/4 cup (180g) of plain yogurt

1/2 cup (120g) of fresh fruits (raspberries, mangoes, kiwis etc)

1/4 cup (50g) of granola


Directions

  1. Dice the fruits into small pieces and combine half of them with the yogurt.
  2. Fill half of a small mason jar or bowl with the yogurt mixture and layer half of the fruits and the granola.
  3. Add the rest of the yogurt mixture, fruits, and granola.
  4. Add some honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter taste.

You can serve this parfait immediately for a crunchier texture or make the parfait in a mason jar and take it with you for a healthy breakfast on the go. You can also place it in a refrigerator for a few hours up to overnight for a creamier result.
