Hiking on Los Liones Trail

Although the highest temperature yesterday was nearly 40 degrees celsius, we went hiking on Los Liones Trail near Pacific Palisades.

Liones1

The sun was glaring and everything was very dry, however, I was surprised to see a lot of hikers on the trail.

Liones2

This trail is very long so there is no clear end point. We decided to walk for about an hour.

Liones3

Even the weather was scorching hot, the trees and flowers were very powerful and I heard some birds chirping in the bush.

Liones4

After about 30 minute walk, there was this beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean and the breeze got cooler as we hiked up.

Liones5

I could see the whole area of Los Angeles.

Liones6

I started to like hiking more and more. Maybe I should get a pair of hiking shoes as my sneakers are quite slippery on the sandy slope.

I thought this trail was quite easy to walk ad the view was wonderful. When you go hiking, don’t forget to take plenty of water with you!
