Did you know that coffee creamer is not really cream? I usually drink coffee with milk and honey but today I thought I would make instant coffee just for a change. I bought instant coffee mix called “French Vanilla Cappuccino drink mix” before so I poured hot water into the powder, then I realized that this drink mix has a long list of ingredients and I started to read it. Many of the ingredients do not seem natural and the worse thing is that creamer made from partially hydrogenated vegetable oil is the second ingredients, which means this product has high percentages of it.

First of all, what is partially hydrogenated vegetable oil? Partially hydrogenated vegetable oil is oil that hydrogen is added to make it more solid and partially hydrogenated fat molecules have trans fats, which maybe the worst type of fat for your body. These chemically made trans fats have been proven to increase cholesterol levels, which can cause some other serious health problems.
Powdered coffee creamer has been used a lot because of its convenience but do you want to consume this chemically-made fats every day?
